What age is suitable for using the YOYO Board ?
The YOYO Board is suitable for a child from 3 years old. The child can stand on the skateboard and even sit for several hours.
From my experience, 2 years old is a bit young to use the board with your child.
They get bored very quickly and still prefer to be in your arms.
However, be careful not to exceed the maximum weight of 20kg on the board.
According to the standard, you can use the board for your child until they are 5 or 6 years old. After that, they will weigh more than 20kg.

How to install the board accessory on the YOYO stroller ?
Installing the YOYO Board is very simple. The board can be mounted and dismounted in 2 minutes via two hooks with springs that attach to the lower part of the chassis near the rear wheels.
There are two notches available only at the back of the stroller to insert the skateboard.
Yes, the YOYO board attaches to the back of the stroller and cannot be attached to the front of the stroller in any case.
You cannot fold the 0+ and 6+ stroller with the board installed, even without the seat.
So, you’ll need to remove it to fold the stroller.
Fortunately, the board is very easy to remove and is not cumbersome.
Otherwise, it can be lifted so that its wheels no longer touch the ground, but you cannot fold the YOYO stroller with the board installed.
My opinion on the YOYO board after 2 years of use
If you don’t plan to buy the YOYO connect or another stroller for your child, then I can only recommend the YOYO Board.
However, a few additional clarifications from my experience using the board for my children.
The stroller will be heavier and less maneuverable. It will be up to the father to handle the stroller when the YOYO Board is installed.
Furthermore, its installation at the back of the stroller does not make it easy to push the stroller because the board and your child are literally in front of you.
Be careful not to trip over it.
The standing position (without the seat of the board) is much more appreciated by the child because:
- They’ll have a better view during outings
- They won’t feel uncomfortable due to the seat. Yes, indeed, children don’t sit for long because the seat is a bit rigid for them.
At least, we have the choice of seating for our child (sitting or standing), unlike many other models that only offer a standing position.
